Principina a mare is well known and appreciated by many for its enviable features: actually it's a small, peacefull place, best suitable for families with children.

Principina is the ideal place for those who love the long fine sand beach, the clean and refreshing sea ("Bandiera blu" all along), the shadow of the pinewood surrounding every building, the opportunity of moving safely by foot or by bicycle.

Principina's cycle lane to Marina di Grosseto is also walkable and features some nature trail.

In addition to footing and cycling, many other sports are available in Principina: tennis, minigolf, horse riding (a few kilometers apart), canoeing, sailing and windsurf. The Park of Maremma is a great place for enjoyable tours by bicycle, canoe or horse and for local wildlife enthusiasts.

Lastly, in the vicinity of Principina there are many destinations for archeology enthusiasts (Roselle, Vetulonia, Sovana ecc.), good food lovers, boat trips fans (Giglio, Giannutri and Elba) and trendy places buffs (Punta Ala, Argentario, Capalbio).
